Once you have accepted a job invitation, you will need to submit a Job Sheet in order to receive your paycheck. In this guide, we will show you how to submit a Job Sheet.
After you have accepted a job invitation, your My Clients page will display the clients you have worked with, along with important information about the client, such as your supervisor, schedule, and pay rates.
To submit a new Job Sheet, you should first download the applicable template. Using the available template ensures that your job sheet will be submitted in an accepted format. You can download the template by selecting Download Template on the My Clients page:
Download the template, and open it using Microsoft Excel
(Important Note: If you attempt to edit your job sheet using a program other than Microsoft Excel, you may be unable to successfully upload your job sheet. Contact support@workrise.com for help.)
Fill in the appropriate information on your sheet…
… and then Save.
Please note that, depending upon the specifications of your job, your job sheet template may differ from the example shown here.
Once you have completed your job sheet, go back to the My Clients page, and select the + New Job Sheet button:
On the page that loads, you will have the opportunity to verify the details of the job (job title, pay rates, and supervisor details). To report issues with the information displayed on this page, email us at support@workrise.com or call (512) 501-5452 opt 1.
Once you have verified that the information on the page is correct, select Upload Job Sheet...
… and then select the file from your device that you want to upload.
You may need to wait a moment for the upload to complete. Once the upload has completed, select Next.
What if My Job Sheet Has Errors? |
If you attempt to upload a job sheet, but there are errors with your sheet, you will see a message asking you to resolve the errors and re-upload before continuing. Follow the instructions in the error message to fix what is wrong with your job sheet. Once you have resolved these errors and successfully uploaded your job sheet, you should be able to select the Next button and move to the next step. After successfully uploading your job sheet, you may be asked to add more details about your job and confirm that you freely accepted any new projects in order to begin billing for them.
Fill out the relevant fields on this page, then select Next.
Then review the details of your job sheet to ensure that the system read your sheet correctly. If all the information is correct, select Submit for Approval. (Otherwise, select Back to return to the Job Sheet upload page.)
When you have successfully submitted your job sheet, you will see the confirmation page.
Note: If this is the first time you are submitting on a Job Sheet on Workrise’s new transactional platform, your rates may need to be approved prior to receiving your next paycheck.
Looking for job sheets you submitted in the past? |
To view any current and past job sheets you submit in the new system, select the Job Sheets menu at the top of the page... … then click the green arrow on the Job Sheet you’re interested in to see all the relevant details, including pay rates, approver details, payment summary, and payment terms. NOTE: If you’re looking for past job sheets that you submitted on our legacy system, or if you are unable to find a specific job sheet, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help. |
