Ineligible for Mileage, Reimbursement, Per Diem, or Rate Type
If you attempt to submit a job sheet that includes data for something you aren’t eligible for, you will see an error message that lets you know what it is you aren’t eligible for and the row or dates containing the ineligible data. Some common messages for ineligible data include:
- It looks like you requested ‘Mileage’ and ‘Reimbursements’ you aren’t eligible for on rows {list of relevant rows}
- It looks like you requested ‘Reimbursements’ you aren’t eligible for on rows {list of relevant rows}
- It looks like you requested ‘Mileage’ you aren’t eligible for on rows {list relevant rows}
- It looks like you requested ‘Per Diem’ you aren’t eligible for on rows {list of relevant rows}
- It looks like you requested a rate type, {name of rate type}, you aren’t eligible for on the following dates: {list of relevant dates}
If you receive this error, you should:
- Review the job sheet file you uploaded to ensure that all mileages, reimbursements, per diems, and rate types are applicable to your job for the rows in which it is included. If you are not eligible for something but feel you should be, please reach out to support to get your engagement updated ASAP
- Update the job sheet to remove the relevant mileage, reimbursement, per diem, or rate type that caused the error.
- Save the job sheet.
- Follow the process outlined here to submit your updated job sheet.
For example, if you submitted a job sheet that included a request for a mileage reimbursement but you were not eligible for a mileage reimbursement, you would first see an error letting you know that you had requested mileage reimbursements you are not eligible for:
After seeing this message, you should reopen your job sheet and check the columns for mileage reimbursements
Then delete the requests for reimbursement on the rows mentioned in the error message.
Save your Job Sheet, then return to the Job Sheet upload page where you initially saw the error, and click the “X” on the red box highlighting your erroneous job sheet
Then re-upload your job sheet and click Next.
If you successfully removed the errors in your job sheet, you will be able to move on to the next step, which is the Add Project Details page.
If you have followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, or if you believe the job sheet error messages are an error (yikes!), please email us at support@workrise.com.
